Counseling Services

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

What type of Counseling Services are offered at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish?

Although our parish does not employ counselors, Spirit of Peace Clinical Counseling has an office in the new St. Mary Catholic Church Parish Offices Through Spirit of Peace, Roman Catholic and non-denominational counselors offer faith-based professional counseling services to all of our Southside parishioners. All counselors are licensed by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Board and combine standard clinical counseling practices with the beliefs, practices, and spirituality of our Church to provide a thorough and Christ-centered approach to healing.  Counselors provide services for adolescents, adults, couples, and families to promote healing, personal growth, loving relationships, and faith-filled lives.

What insurance is accepted and is insurance required?

Most major health insurance plans are accepted and reduced fee schedules may be available to those who do not have insurance. Counselors have a dedicated office at St. Mary used only for counseling services.
